Senior Housing News (SHN) is pleased to announce the official start of the 2018 Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Awards. The Awards recognize excellence by celebrating construction and renovation projects that improve the lives of seniors through innovative design.
Participants have until October 31, 2018, to submit their entries that will be judged by a panel of senior living industry experts. Entries will be evaluated on several criteria, including design, aesthetics, community integration, amenities and lifestyle enrichment.
Senior housing owners, operators, developers, architects and design firms from around the world are encouraged to submit their entries to compete in eight professional and two student categories.
“The SHN Architecture & Design Awards attract an incredibly diverse group of owners, operators, developers and professionals that bring innovation and inspiration to senior living,” said George Yedinak, co-founder and executive vice president of Aging Media Network. “Every year, the competition has grown and the quality of applicants continues to astound from small operators to regional and national players.”
Each year, more than 80 organizations enter their communities in the SHN Architecture & Design Awards and are recognized for their unique approaches to senior living design.
