Yardi Unveils CRM Mobile App

Yardi, a provider of real estate investment and property management software solutions, has introduced a mobile app for its Yardi Senior CRM product.

Yardi Senior CRM delivers visibility into marketing and sales activities with customer relationship management (CRM) tools designed for senior living providers. The new mobile app allows users to securely view and edit CRM information via iOS and Android devices.

Specifically, senior living providers can add, review and update prospect, referral and contact information from their phones. The app automatically syncs with the user’s activity queue, which helps them to stay on schedule.

Stanley Strikes Agreement to Sell Touchscreen Visitor Management System

Stanley Healthcare, a provider of life safety and security solutions for the senior living and health care industries, has announced an agreement with Accushield to offer the Accushield touchscreen visitor sign-in system as part of its portfolio of solutions.

The system replaces paper sign-in logs at entrances to senior living communities with a touchscreen, badge-printing table. The system can also confirm receipt of required credentials from third-party health care providers and other vendors working in those communities.

Currently, the system used in hundreds of senior living communities in 35 U.S. states and Canada. If all goes according to plan, Accushield will hit 1,000 communities later this year.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Stanely will sell the Accushield system in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. Stanley is also currently the only vendor to have this relationship with Accushield in the for-profit and not-for-profit senior living market.

American Baptist to Use Eversound’s Wireless Headphone Technology

American Baptist Homes of the Midwest (ABHM) is partnering with senior living technology provider Eversound to bring wireless headphone system into all seven of its communities across six states.

Eversound designs and develops proprietary audio technologies which help everyone hear clearly during movies, presentations and other group activities. The company’s wireless headphone system is specifically tuned to the needs of seniors and improves hearing clarity by providing direct audio to users’ ears.

California Community Gets New Solar Panel System

Senior living provider Generations LLC is poised to commission a new photovoltaic solar system at Paradise Village, its independent, assisted living and memory care community in National City, California.

The new system is expected to produce about 1 million kWh of electricity per year, which represents approximately 40% of the campus’ annual electricity usage. It was installed by NW Photon Energy, a commercial solar company based out of Portland, Oregon, and financed by an $82 million dollar “green loan” structured by Walker & Dunlop.

Development took roughly three years.
