New Community Planned in Arizona
Investment Property Associates (IPA) and Ryan Companies have announced a senior living community in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The community, Generations at Pinnacle Peak, is will have 90 independent and assisted living units and 20 memory care units, according to a release on AZ Big Media.
IPA will operate the community through Retirement Community Specialists (RCS), its senior living operating arm.
Development Near Indianapolis to Include Assisted Living
A forthcoming housing development in Avon, Indiana, will include a senior living community with 90 assisted living units.
Equicor Real Estate’s plans call for single-family homes along with the senior housing, reports to the Indianapolis Business Journal.
Meridian to Operate California Community Slated for Renovations
Regency Palms, an assisted living facility in Oxnard, California, is slated to receive upgrades financed by a $12.5 million loan from iBorrow, a bridge loan provider in Los Angeles.
Meridian Senior Living will take over operation of the 102-unit community when the renovations are complete in 2018, according to the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Global Premier Development is the property’s developer.
Colonial Senior Living Plotting Kentucky Community
A 32-acre property in Henderson, Kentucky, is slated to become a sprawling senior living campus.
Colonial Senior Living’s plans for the plot of land include 60 independent living duplexes and an assisted living center, according to The Gleaner, a local news site.
Local officials have granted the project overall approval.
Luxury Senior Living Project Planned in Florida
A development group is moving forward with its plans to build a 300-unit assisted living, independent living and memory care community in Weston, Florida.
The Palace Group of Miami recently unveiled what it had in mind for The Palace at Weston Senior Living, according to Multi-Housing News.
The project is scheduled to break ground in 2018 and include amenities such as complimentary happy hour, a craft and game room, a fitness center and a heated pool and jacuzzi with water classes.

Pathway Pre-Leasing at Illinois Community
Pathway to Living, a Chicago-based developer, owner and operator of senior living communities, is now pre-leasing at Heartis Village of Orland Park, a 96-unit assisted living and memory care community in Orland Park, Illinois.
The 89,622-square-foot property is being developed by Caddis Healthcare Real Estate and is expected to open in early 2018, according to a press release.
Amenities include all-day dining, a bistro, movie theater and chapel, salon and spa, library and technology center, therapy gym and fitness center, and a multitude of indoor and outdoor common areas.
HHHunt Breaks Ground on $32.3 Maryland Community
HHHunt announced it has broken ground on Spring Arbor of Frederick, a $32.3 million, 109-bed assisted living and memory care community in Frederick, Maryland.
The 110,000 square foot community is expected to open in early 2019 and include amenities and services such as life-skills programming, courtyards with covered seating areas, walking paths and space for gardening.
Construction for this new community was made possible through financing from a $50 million guidance facility from SunTrust Bank.
Construction Underway for $19 Million Community in Orgeon
Work has begun for a a new senior living community in Redmond, Oregon.
The community will have 12 two-bedroom independent living cottages, 56 assisted living apartments and 24 memory care studios, according to a press release. Amenities include a fitness center, media and theater area, sun room, a bistro and Wi-Fi throughout the campus.
The construction is a project of a joint venture between Paradigm Properties and Compass Senior Living. BLRB Architects designed the campus, and the project’s contractor is CS Construction.
The project is slated to open in August 2018.
MorningStar, Confluent Break Ground on Santa Fe Community
MorningStar Senior Living and Confluent Senior Living have broken ground on a new senior living community in Santa Fe, New Mexico, according to a press release. The 71,000-square-foot development will have 85 units for assisted living and memory care residents.
Amenities include a 24-hour bistro along and restaurant-style and private dining options, a spa and massage therapy room, fitness and wellness center, theater, chapel, library and a salon.
Work Underway for Minnesota Assisted Living and Memory Care Community
A groundbreaking ceremony was held this month for a new assisted living and memory care community in Breckenridge, Minnesota.
The community, Prairie Waters, will have 62 units, according to the Daily News, a local news publication. The community is a project of ReNew Senior Communities.
Planned amenities include several dining areas, a pub, a theater, a chapel, a garden area for residents, patios, a putting green and a playground for kids.

LCB Senior Living Opens Massachusetts Community
Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, has new community from LCB Senior Living.
The provider recently celebrated the opening of The Residence at Orchard Grove, a 60-unit property for independent living, assisted living and memory care residents, reported Community Advocate.
Kentucky Memory Care Community Opens
A 58-unit freestanding memory care community has opened its doors in Russel, Kentucky.
The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence celebrated its grand opening on Nov. 9, according to the Herald Dispatch.
