Pathway to Manage Wisconsin Community

Caddis has begun developing its first senior living community in Wisconsin, and Pathway Senior Living is slated to manage it, according to a press release.

The community, Heartis Village North Shore, will have 105 assisted living and memory care apartments. Residents will have access to amenities such as garden areas and walking paths, common areas, game and activity rooms, a wellness suite, library, media room, a beauty shop and a barber shop.

Services will include nurse-supervised staff, 24-hour emergency call system, housekeeping and laundry services and assistance with personal activities.

The community is expected to be completed in early 2019.

Senior Housing Complex Planned in New York

Plans are taking shape for a new senior housing complex that would bring age-restricted housing and an assisted living community to Rye Brook, New York.

Manhattan-based commercial real estate firm George Comfort & Sons has proposed demolishing an office building it owns and building a 269-unit senior housing campus with age-restricted townhouses, apartments and an assisted living community, reports Westfair Online.

Local officials must approve the project for it to move forward.

Moorings Park CCRC to Expand in Florida

Moorings Park, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Naples, Florida, has plans to grow by opening a new satellite community.

The community is collaborating with builder and developer London Bay Homes to create an independent living campus with 275 residences in Naples, reports Naples Daily News.

Plans Advance for New Mexico Memory Care Community

A planned memory care community in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is now one step closer to opening its doors.

Local officials gave final approval for The Montecito Santa Fe, a 40-bed memory care community, according to Santa Fe New Mexican.

The project is a partnership between Montecito and Rodeo Holdings. Developers expect the community to open in 2018.

Sunrise Plots Assisted Living Community in New York

Sunrise Senior Living is moving forward with a proposal to open a new assisted living community in Pleasantville, New York.

The provider has proposed building a new 55-unit memory care community, reports the Examiner, a local news site.

Local officials must approve the proposal for it to move forward.

Affordable Housing for Seniors Coming to California

Construction crews are nearly ready to begin work for a new affordable housing complex for seniors in Fremont, California.

Nonprofit developer Eden Housing on Friday Oct. 13 will break ground on a complex of 90 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes meant for “very low and extremely low-income” adults age 62 or older, according to a press release.

KTGY Architecture + Planning designed the complex green elements that maximize energy and water efficiency and make use of recycled materials.

Sagora Breaks Ground on California Community

Construction is now underway for a Sagora Senior Living community in Rocklin, California.

The 14-acre campus will have 14 independent living cottage homes, 130 independent living apartments, 60 assisted living apartments and 22 memory care apartments, reports EFA Magazine.

Ground Broken for Nebraska Complex With Senior Living

A new development is going up in Norfolk, Nebraska, that will house a senior living community.

A group of developers held a groundbreaking ceremony for Fountain Point, a medical campus that is planned to have medical office space, apartments and an 87-bed memory care and assisted living community, according to the Norfolk Daily News.

Construction for the senior living wing is expected to begin in the spring of 2018.

LCS to Open $40 Million Community in Texas

Life Care Services (LCS) on Oct. 12 is scheduled to hold a grand opening for its $40 million senior living community in Waco, Texas, reports the Waco Tribune-Herald.

The community, The Delaney at Lake Waco, is a four-story, 171-unit complex that has independent living, assisted living and memory care. Amenities include a theater, library, exercise and wellness room, a large dining room and extensive landscaping of the campus grounds.

White Construction was the project’s general contractor and PRDG Architectural Solutions of Dallas designed the community.
