CA Ventures Hires Chief Development Officer
Chicago-based real estate investment holding company CA Ventures recently named Sean Spellman as its new chief development officer.
In his new position, Spellman will be responsible for executing a multi-sector pipeline that includes almost 30 projects valued at more than $2 billion across the U.S. The role was previously held by JJ Smith, who now serves as president and principal of the company’s student housing division.
Spellman most recently ran the Chicago office of Opus Development, where he led the company’s in-house construction and development teams implementing projects in senior housing, student housing, mixed-use, multifamily, office, industrial and retail.
Affinity Living Group Names Executive Director for Community in North Carolina
Michael Ring was recently named executive director of The Landings at Mills River, an assisted living community under construction in Mills River, North Carolina, according to the Hendersonville Lightning.
The 34,000-square-foot, 65-bed community is anticipated to open in late 2017 or early 2018. Affinity Living Group will manage the community.
Erickson Living Names New Director of Dining Services at CCRC in Maryland
Erickson Living recently promoted Jill Clippinger to the director of dining services at its Oak Crest continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Parkville, Maryland.
Clippinger began her career at Oak Crest in 2003 as a restaurant manager before becoming assistant dining services director.
In her new role as director of dining services, Clippinger will oversee 375 employees and the operation of restaurants with diverse dining offerings in both the extended care and independent living neighborhoods.
New Executive Director Selected at Senior Living Community in Dothan, Alabama
Patrick R. Davies was recently named the new executive director at Wesley Place on Honeysuckle senior living community in Dothan, Alabama.
Davies was most recently employed as the administrator at Bay Center Nursing and Rehabilitation in Panama City, Florida.
