The Asbury Group Names Michael Hollen As President

Germantown, Maryland-based Asbury Communities, Inc. named Michael Hollen as president of The Asbury Group, a management, consulting and IT solutions company specializing in senior living and long-term care, on June 1.

Hollen previously worked as Sodexo Seniors’ vice president of operations, and recently joined The Asbury Group as vice president of business development.

Prior to Hollen’s appointment, the role of president filled by Doug Leidig, who also served as president and CEO of Asbury Communities, a not-for-profit system of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and senior home care services. Now, Hollen will report to Leidig directly.

Springpoint Senior Living Names New CEO

Wall Township, New Jersey-based nonprofit senior housing provider Springpoint Senior Living has named Anthony A. Argondizza as its president and CEO, effective July 1. Argondizza is set to replace CEO Gary T. Puma, who will retire from Springpoint after working there for 39 years.

Argondizza first joined Springpoint in 1994, and has served as the company’s president since September 2016.

Asbury Place Names New Regional Human Resources Director

Asbury Place, an affiliate of Asbury Communities, Inc., recently named Barbara Machuga as a regional director of human resources.

Machuga most recently served as a director of human resources for Springhill Senior Living, an Asbury community in Erie, Pennsylvania.

In her new role at Asbury Place, Machuga will work with the Maryville and Kingsport campuses, which have over 550 combined employees.

Senior Resource Group Hires Director of Assisted Living in Naples, Florida

Senior housing owner, developer and operator Senior Resource Group recently named Patty McAllister as the director of assisted living for The Carlisle Naples, a senior housing community in Naples, Florida.

Most recently, McAllister worked as the assistant director of nursing with Gulf Coast Village, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Cape Coral, Florida.

In her new role, McAllister will be responsible for directing and administering policies and procedures for The Carlisle’s CARF-accredited assisted living services, as well as guaranteeing resident care and wellness. Additionally, she will provide leadership to a team of more than 50 employees.

Walker & Dunlop Hires New Capital Markets Broker

Bethesda, Maryland-based commercial real estate services and finance firm Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (NYSE: WD) recently hired Jamie Butler as a managing director in its Capital Markets group.

Butler will be based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Maryland headquarters and will be responsible for sourcing debt and equity for development projects and stabilized assets across all property types, concentrating on the Mid-Atlantic region.

Before joining Walker & Dunlop, Butler served as senior vice president at CBRE in the firm’s capital markets group.

AG Architecture Names Two New Senior Associates

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based AG Architecture recently promoted Mike Miller and Andy Korb to senior associates. Korb and Miller both joined AG in 2008, and each brings more than 20 years of industry experience to their new leadership roles, according to a press release.

With respect to AG’s senior living portfolio, Korb has managed efforts on several projects in Florida.

Miller also has expertise with senior living, having led the successful completion of senior living projects across the country. These projects include Aberdeen Heights in Kirkwood, Missouri, and Wichita Presbyterian Manor.

Erickson Living CCRC Lantern Hill Names New Director of Nursing

Lantern Hill, a CCRC managed by Erickson Living in New Providence, New Jersey, recently named AnnMarie Boyle as its first director of nursing.

Boyle previously worked as director of nursing at an Erickson Living community in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, called Cedar Crest.

Trillium Woods Hires New Director of Marketing

Trillium Woods, a 209-residence life plan community based in Plymouth, Minnesota, recently hired Stephanie Frederick as its director of marketing.

Life Care Services manages Trillium Woods.

Before her role at Trillium Woods, Frederick worked as the patient transition liaison at a transitional and long-term senior care center in Minneapolis, where she managed the care transitions of patients from five local hospitals to 26 long-term care and transitional care units.

Brightview Senior Living Names New CFO

Jeffrey K. Hettleman, executive vice president and partner at national real estate development and property management company The Shelter Group, was recently named CFO at The Shelter Group and Brightview Senior Living, based in Baltimore, Maryland.
