Senior Community Planned in California 

Located in Morgan Hill, California, Steadfast Senior Living is planning a new community with 67 senior apartments for assisted living and memory care.

The community will be 62,000 square feet and will have options of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences. The apartments will range between 400 and 1000 square feet.

Residents will be able to enjoy amenities such as common areas, lounges, fine dining, a bistro, spa, beauty salon, fitness center, movie theater, game room, computer lab and library. Outside there will also be an enclosed courtyard with a fireplace, fountain, grill, putting green, gardens and walking paths.

Ground will be broken this summer and the community is expected to open in 2018.

Plans Finalized for New Senior Living Community in California

A new senior living community, Shannon Ranch, will break ground later this year in Visalia, California. The community, by Living Care Lifestyles, will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care.

Shannon Ranch will have 120 rooms, with space for 140 residents.

Residents will be able to enjoy amenities such as a bistro, pub, dining room, private dining options, pool, sports den, theater, library, meditation suites, a virtual golf area, and outdoor patios.

Post-Acute Community to Open in Colorado

The Suites Loveland, a post-acute facility, will open this spring in Loveland, Colorado. The 50,000-square-foot property will have room for 70 people in need of short-term rehabilitation.

Mainstreet is developing the facility and Oz Architecture is designing the community.

Four Senior Living Communities Making Progress

Real estate company Ryan Companies and Grand Living are working on four new senior living communities in Iowa, South Dakota and Florida.

The first, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will be a 164-unit community offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. The community, Grand Living at Indian Creek, is planned to open in 2018.

The second community, the Grand Living at Bridgewater, will be located in Coralville, Iowa. There will be 170 residences for independent living, assisted living and memory care. Grand Living at Bridgewater will open in March 2018.

Third is Citrus Hills, located in Florida. The community will be 165 units and will open to residents in June. Residents will be able to choose from independent living, assisted living or memory care services.

In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lake Lorraine is the first of the four communities to have residents moved in already. As of March, some residents have moved into the 150-residence community with a mix of living options.

Ground Broken on $108 Million Expansion of Resort-Style Community in Arizona

Located in North Phoenix, Sagewood, a Life Plan Community, has broken ground on The Estates neighborhood. The $108 million neighborhood will include 24 luxury single and duplex-style casitas and villa homes ranging form 1,926 to 3,174 square feet.

The residences will have scenic views, landscaped courtyards, a large chef’s kitchen, media room, a covered patio with outdoor cooking area, a private attached guest casita option, a two-care garage and an attached golf cart bay.

In addition to the residences, the neighborhood will include a 13,000 square-foot multi-purpose event center.

Two Communities in Austin, Texas, Underway

Located in North Austin, Texas, two senior living communities have broken ground. The Spectrum Retirement Communities are The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living and The Enclave at Cedar Park Senior Living. Both are scheduled to open in mid-to-late 2018.

The Enclave at Round Rock will include 170 apartment homes with 110 for independent living and 60 for assisted living. The Enclave at Cedar Park will have 154 residences, 74 of which will be for independent living, 54 for assisted living and 16 for memory care.

Both communities will offer residences ranging in size from studios to two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment homes.

Senior Living Providers Partner for New Communities in Pennsylvania

Legend Senior Living and Signature Senior Living have partnered up to manage and own two communities in Pennsylvania.

Signature of Lancaster, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, opened in January and Signature Lititz, located in Lititz, Pennsylvania, opened in November 2016. Each community has 33 memory care apartments and 47 personal care apartments.

Information Center Now Open at Community in Michigan

Located in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Stonecrest of Rochester Hills anticipates opening in the fall. The community has opened its information center and is taking reservations.

Managed by Integral Senior Living, the community will offer 87 residences with 55 private apartments in assisted living and 32 suites in a memory care neighborhood.

Amenities will include an award-winning dining program, outdoor living spaces, an active bistro, theater and fitness center.
