Minnesota Senior Housing Community Planned

Located in Apple Valley, Minnesota, owner, developer and manager Dominium Senior Living has plans to build a 163-unit affordable senior housing community.

The property was bought at the end of 2016 and construction on Legends of Apple Valley is scheduled to be complete in spring 2018.

The building will be four stories and will include amenities such as a community room, kitchen with separate dining room, craft and card rooms, beauty salon, fitness room, theater area and large outdoor area with grills and lounge area.

Plan Finalized on $45 Million Senior Community

Campo Felice Retirement Living will soon begin construction on the second phase of construction in downtown Fort Myers, Florida.

The construction will include 99 assisted living units and 20 specialized memory care residences throughout a nine-story building. The assisted living units will have five different floor plans ranging from 425 square feet to 675 square feet. Memory care units will range between 300 square feet and 350 square feet.

Residents will be able to enjoy amenities such as a 2,900-square-foot restaurant, movie theater, swimming pool and outdoor terrace.

Campo Felice Retirement Living is scheduled to be complete in early 2019 and is being designed by Patina Design Group LLC and Kitsch + KO Architects. The community is owned by MacFarlane Group LLC.

Catholic Resort-Style Senior Community To Begin Construction

A new catholic retirement community located in Brookside, Missouri is planned to begin construction soon.

The community, St. Anthony’s will have a resort feel and will include 120 independent living units, 48 assisted living units and 54 memory care units. Amenities include a fitness and wellness center, cafeteria and bistro, a spa, chapel, dog park, community garden, covered parking and a resident priest.

Even though the community is catholic, residents do not have to be catholic to live there.

The independent living building plans to open in summer 2018 and the assisted living and memory care buildings will open in fall 2018.

Senior Community Underway in New Hampshire

A new assisted living facility is under construction in White River Junction, New Hampshire. The $27 million, 87,000-square-foot community will be five stories and include 80 units.

The Village at White River will include amenities such as an in-house cinema, a salon, a hydroponic garden, dog walking area and a cocktail lounge.

The formal groundbreaking ceremony will be held in March and the completion of the project is expected to be in spring 2018. Life Care Services will operate The Village at White River.

Texas Senior Living Community to Open Soon

Part of the Parkview on Hollybrook, located in Longview, Texas is set to open in February. The 83-unit assisted living facility is owned by real estate investment firm Austin-based Thrive, FP.

In addition to the assisted living facility, a 126-unit independent living center is also scheduled to open in April, which will be two months early.

Construction on both projects is being done by NE Development of Lewisville, Texas.

Million Dollar Renovations Complete at Skilled Nursing Facility

The renovations at Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Baltimore, Maryland, are complete. The updates came after Tryko Partners purchased the facility in mid-2014.

Renovations included an expansion of the 1,500-square-foot rehabilitation therapy gym as well as a redesign of family gathering areas, the implementation of a fine dining program and an update of finishes around the facility.

Marquis Health Services operates the 120-bed facility.

Phase One of Memory Care Community Complete

In Lafayette, Colorado, Landmark Memory Care has completed a new memory care facility, which has 18 resident units.

The facility is 9,395 square feet on a single story, which includes a commercial kitchen, dining room, common areas and lobby. Outside, a central park was constructed with seating areas and raised flowerbeds.

The project was constructed by Pinkard Construction and reached substantial completion in early November then opened for residents shortly after. Clear Creek Architects designed the facility.
