Poll: How Are Senior Living Communities Changing in Size?

Over the years, senior living has seen the emergence of the small house model, which champions the development of properties with fewer units and fewer residents in order to create a more homelike environment.

However, the industry has also welcomed massive — and sprawling — senior living campuses to its inventory, with some properties boasting multi-story designs and thousand-acre plots, which often encompass several hundred units.

Given the varying construction trends, we’re interested to hear from those involved in the development of senior living communities as to whether they’re planning to build smaller or larger communities in terms of unit count compared to years past.
