Investment Group On Pace for $100M in 2013 Senior Housing Acquisitions

SenQuest, the senior housing division of Titan Real Estate Investment Group, is planning to invest $100 million in acquisitions in the sector this year and is already underway in meeting this benchmark, its executives say.

Most recently, SenQuest completed a transaction to acquire Waldenbrooke Estates, a 180-unit luxury independent living community in Bryan, Texas, from WSL Waldenbrooke Investors V L.P. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Anticipating a demand fueled by an aging baby boomer population, SenQuest hopes to spread its acquisition activity to various markets nationwide, according to a report from Commercial Property Executive.

Specifically, the company looks to target the midwest, south and southwest for future acquisition activity, according to a SenQuest managing partner cited in the Commercial Property Executive article.

As for property type, SenQuest says it will continue to target “high-quality properties that appeal to seniors who, in their golden years, wish to maintain the lifestyle to which they have grown accustomed.”
