Senior Living Provider Acquires Land for Skilled Nursing Center for $1.9 Million

StoneGate Senior Living announced on Feb. 10 that it had completed the $1,894,080 purchase of approximately 6.7 acres of land on which it plans to construct a skilled care and rehabilitation center.

The land is located in the Norman Regional Health System’s Medical Park West project, and is immediately adjacent to Normal Regional Health System’s HealthPlex hospital.

The senior living company’s plan is to build an “upscale, post-acute rehabilitation and skilled care center whose primary focus will be short-term care for patients that discharge from the hospital and need additional rehabilitation or health care services before returning home.”

It will offer 44 private suites, 31 shared suits, community and living areas, and a large rehabilitation gym for occupational, physical, and speech therapies. There will also be care and accommodations for residents who need long-term health care services, and the center will be licensed to provide care for up to 106 patients.

StoneGate Senior Living is a senior health care and seniors housing provider headquartered in Lewisville, Tex. It currently manages 29 properties throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Equity Commercial Realty, LLC listed the property, with Dan Wigington as the selling broker.
