Integral Senior Living Announces a New Regional Director of Operations

Integral Senior Living  (ISL) has announced that Joel Quade has joined the management team as a Regional Director of Operations. In this newly created position, Joel will oversee efforts for Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico communities.  Joel brings over 17 years of experience in long term healthcare, assisted living and memory care management, marketing and operations to the position.  In his new role, Joel will be responsible for providing support to our communities in the Southwest Region.  Prior to joining ISL, Joel was with Merrill Gardens for eleven years, serving recently as  General Manager for the Parmer Woods community in Austin, Texas and as a Regional Director.  Prior to his time with Merrill Gardens, he served in both long term care and assisted living management positions.  Joel has a Bachelor degree from Baylor University and a Nursing Home Administration license in the state of Texas.

The Legacy at Willow Bend Names Dana Hanks Sales Counselor

The Legacy at Willow Bend has appointed Dana Hanks to the position of Sales Counselor. The announcement was made by Louise Dunkerley, Director of Sales and Marketing, The Legacy Senior Communities, Inc. She joins The Legacy from Brookdale Senior Living where she served Broadway Plaza Cityview in Forth Worth and The Towers on Park Lane in San Antonio as Director of Sales and Marketing.  Previously, Hanks spent the past nine years working with Hearthstone Assisted Living and Marriott Senior Living Services as Community Relations/Admissions Director for communities in San Antonio and Houston.  Hanks graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Marketing/Management.

Linda Rose, VP of Health Services at Springpoint Senior Living Named LeadingAge New Jersey’s 2011 Professional of the Year

Linda Rose, Vice President of Health Services at Springpoint Senior Living, was named 2011 Professional of the Year by LeadingAge New Jersey, the state’s premier professional organization for senior housing and care providers.  This award is presented to someone who has “inspired and motivated staff, volunteers and residents, who has performed his/her job in an extraordinary manner and who has often gone above the call of duty in serving others,” LeadingAge said.  Ms. Rose will receive her award Wednesday, June 1, at a ceremony in Somerset, NJ.

Since joining Springpoint 11 years ago, Ms. Rose has worked to develop goals and standards that promote exceptional resident care. She has also created an employee wellness program and a career ladder that encourages leadership and professional growth for Springpoint’s nursing aides. Ms. Rose is a sought-after speaker and resource for senior groups across New Jersey.  Ms. Rose holds masters and bachelor’s of science degrees from Rutgers University. A resident of Jackson, NJ, Ms. Rose is an advanced practice nurse specializing in geriatrics. She is also a licensed nursing home administrator.

Solivita Appoints Manning as Director of Sales

Solivita recently announced the hiring of Michael Manning as their new Director of Sales. An industry veteran with 23 years of experience in real estate and new home management and sales, Manning had previously served in sales and operations management for Bellalago, another residential community by Avatar Properties, the developer and owner of the Solivita community.

In his new position, Manning will run and operate the sales department in Solivita, train and manage sales associates, work directly with the marketing team and serve as the community’s Broker of Record. Manning has also previously worked for DR Horton Homes and Lennar Homes in a customer relations capacity.  Manning holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License and is a State Certified Building Contractor. He is also a member of the Mid-Florida Home Builder’s Association Sales & Marketing Committee (20 years), the Osceola County Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors

Scardinia Joins Cambridge Realty Capital

Zachary Scardina, 23, has joined Cambridge Realty Capital Companies as a Junior Loan Officer and Financial Analyst.  A graduate of DePaul University with a double major in real estate and finance, Scardina initially joined Cambridge as an associate in the company’s internship program in May 2010. Responsibilities in his new position will involve him directly in a variety of activities including underwriting and financial analysis, deal presentations, loan originations, and acquisitions.

ESI Announces New Managing Partner

Evans Senior Investments (ESI) is excited to announce today the appointment of Jeremy Stroiman as Managing Partner.  Jeremy will lead the ESI office located in Boulder, Colorado.  Prior to ESI, Jeremy spent numerous years at Covidien, a publically traded company and a medical device industry leader, as the US Director of Sales Operations.

Riderwood Chefs Get Designation of Certified Executive Chefs by the American Culinary Federation

Riderwood retirement community’s  Executive Chef Victor Cirrincione and Chef Elliot Satin have successfully completed all the requirements to become designated Certified Executive Chefs by the American Culinary Federation. A Certified Executive Chef is one of the highest honors bestowed by the American Culinary Federation,. Just 15% of the nation’s chef’s have received this designation.  Established in 1929, the American Culinary Federation is the largest and most prestigious organization of professional chefs and cooks.
