Cresswind at Lake Lanier, a waterfront active adult community adjacent to Lake Lanier recently announced that it has begun construction on a 36,000 square foot clubhouse and amenity center that is estimated to cost more than $8 million.   The project, developed by the Kolter Group, features two and three bedroom ranch-style floorplans as well as access to the community’s marina which has 60 slips with private-use permits

The Kolter Group, LLC, a West Palm Beach private investment firm, re-launched the premier, gated community in Gainesville, Georgia, after purchasing it out of bankruptcy in early 2010.  The community held its grand opening in April of 2010 and the plans to build the clubhouse and amenity center were announced in October 2010.

“We wasted no time putting a lot of money into reworking the community and we are pleased to see our hard work paying off,” said Kolter Vice President, Bob Rademacher. “From day one we promised our homeowners that we would not only upgrade the community, but also build a clubhouse that is second to none. We are extremely pleased that construction is underway. There is tremendous excitement surrounding Cresswind right now, and I expect it to continue as the clubhouse becomes a reality.”
