Plainfield, Illinois Assisted Living Facility Celebrates Groundbreaking

Heritage Woods of Plainfield, Illinois recently celebrated its ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the new $18 million assisted living community.  The three-story building will house 108 private studio and one-bedroom apartments.  The Builders ProLoan Fund, LLC, on behalf of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters, is providing $12.2 million in funding for the development of Heritage Woods of Plainfield.  In addition, the Great Lakes Capital Fund for Housing of Oakbrook, Illinois, is providing more than $2.2 million in equity by purchasing Low Income Housing Tax Credits.  The project, being developed by BMA, was designed by Gleason Architects and Horve Builders is serving as general contractor.

“Heritage Woods of Plainfield will especially benefit older adults in the Plainfield area who do not have the financial resources to afford private pay assisted living,” says Blair Minton, Founder of BMA Management, Ltd., the company that will manage Heritage Woods.
