For those making the trip out to the Consumer Electronics Show later this week, make the time to spend Saturday with technology and aging professionals talking about various topics related to consumer technology products and aging at the 2011 Silvers Summit. SHN will be presenting / moderating the panel at 2 pm on Saturday entitled “Creating the Smart, Aware Home”. The panel will examine the realities and future of home automation for seniors both in their homes and in varied living communities and how they connect with the local, wide area and global networks. Speakers on the panel are from Maxsa, Zigbee and ClosebyNetworks.
