Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) recently celebrated the ground breaking for Harbor Pointe Cottage Homes at PVM’s Village of East Harbor in Chesterfield Township. The project is an expansion of the Village of East Harbor campus and is scheduled to be completed in June 2011. The 1,600 square foot cottage homes will include kitchens with complete appliance package, granite countertops, vaulted ceilings, and two-car attached garages. Future phases of the expansion include additional cottages and a 4-story building with 105 spacious apartments which represent a $34 million investment.
“We are pleased to offer these new homes and create new possibilities in quality senior living.” said David Miller, vice president and executive director of The Village of East Harbor. “The Village of East Harbor began in 1978 and it is exciting to be able to serve the growing number of seniors in Chesterfield Township and the surrounding communities.”
