Five Star Quality Care, Inc. Announces Resignation and Election of Directors
Five Star Quality Care, Inc. (NYSE Amex: FVE) has announced that Donna D. Fraiche has replaced Arthur G. Koumantzelis as a FVE Independent Director and member of FVE’s Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Governance Committees. Ms. Fraiche is expected to serve the remainder of Mr. Koumantzelis’ term that will expire at the 2012 annual meeting of shareholders. Ms. Fraiche has been a shareholder in the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz since 2004 and is a member of the firm’s Health Law and Public Policy departments. Ms. Fraiche is also Chair of the Louisiana Health Care Commission and has served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Loyola University, among numerous other business and civic responsibilities.
Peter Crane is Named Executive Director of Tallgrass Creek in Overland Park, Kansas
Peter Crane has been named Executive Director of Tallgrass Creek, a continuing care retirement community with more than 200 residents located in Overland Park, KS. He brings vast experience to Tallgrass Creek, having joined Erickson Living, the campus’ management company, in 2008. Crane most recently served as the Executive Director for Henry Ford Village in Dearborn ,MI. Prior to that he was the Associate Executive Director at Fox Run in Novi, MI. Before joining Erickson, Crane served as the Executive Director for two other retirement communities in Dayton, Ohio. Crane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College and a Nursing Home Administrators license in Ohio.
Petroff Joins Wells Fargo For Healthcare Originations
Wells Fargo has announced that Ginger Petroff has joined the company as a senior originator focusing on healthcare finance including financing for independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and continuing care retirement communities nationally for Wells Fargo utilizing Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA loan programs along with other bank financing products. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she was a managing principal at Healthcare Capital Group (HCG), a boutique advisory firm specializing in capital investments and asset management in the senior housing and healthcare real estate sectors. Prior to her tenure at HCG, Petroff was with GE Healthcare Financial Services where she played a key role as vice president of Equity Investments in building a $1+ billion equity portfolio. She completed her undergraduate studies at Webster University and received her M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.
The Stratford Appoints Lockhart To Executive Director
The Stratford recently announced that Shelly Lockhart has been appointed to the position of executive director for the Carmel, Indiana senior living community. Lockhart was previously executive director of Watersong, a Viera, Florida based community. Lockhart has over 12 years experience managing, marketing and overseeing a variety of healthcare organizations from home health companies to retirement communities. Prior to her time at Watersong, she oversaw marketing efforts for Hospice of St. Francis – Titusville.
Robert "Rocky" Kraft Joins Omnicare as Senior Vice President
Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE:OCR) has announced that Robert "Rocky" Kraft has joined the Company as Senior Vice President. Mr. Kraft will be responsible for intiatives which inlucding enhancing Omnicare’s efficiencies in its financial organization and the development of its tax fuction as well as its non-drug strategic sourcing team. Prior to joining Omnicare, Mr. Kraft was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers with over 18 years of experience working with a broad range of publicly and privately held clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing and technology. Cascade Living Group Promotes Kimberly Wagner to Partner and Vice President

AHEPA Management’s Duncan Selected As Faculty For NCOA-ASA Conference
AHEPA Management Company has announced that Linda Duncan has been selected to serve as faculty for Aging in America, the National Council on Aging–American Society on Aging Joint Conference which will be held April 26-30, 2011 in San Francisco, CA. A nationally respected gerontologist, Ms. Duncan will be presenting a workshop entitled “Aging, Wellness and the Arts: Changing the Face of Health and Wellness Programming.”
As Assistant Vice President at AHEPA Management Company, Ms. Duncan develops and supervises the Service Coordination Program for over 80 HUD-sponsored affordable senior housing complexes throughout 23 states. Previously, Duncan served as Social Service Coordinator for the Indianapolis Senior Center, as Program Specialist for the Alzheimer’s Association, and as Director of Social Service and Public Relations for the Indianapolis Retirement Home. Ms. Duncan earned a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Indiana with a major in Communications and a minor in Recreation.
