The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) is hosting a national Alzheimer’s disease telethon on Saturday, December 4 to raise awareness, funds and share stories of hope. The “Together for Care” telethon has enlisted various celebrities and will be hosted by the “Today” show’s Al Roker and broadcast online and on NBC local stations across the country. The effort led by actor Hector Elizondo, AFA’s honorary celebrity chairman, will have appearances and calls to action from media personalities, celebrities and professional athletes.
