3ARC Limited, a provider of tracking products and services in the UK, is making a move to expand its services into the United States, with the introduction of 3ARC, LLC in Cranston, Rhode Island. The company will market its telecare solution for monitoring the elderly or those requiring help, using small, personal tracking devices that can be carried and triggered in an emergency. The Angel Service responds immediately with 2-way voice and dispatches the required help to the exact location, with all relevant personal and medical information pulled up automatically. 3ARC Limited uses Portman Security Systems hardware exclusively for its GPS tracking and monitoring services, and the Offender Tracking system was developed with 3ARC as an OEM project.
“After conducting extensive testing of many alternative hardware products, there was no contest, really,” said Pete Walters, Marketing Director at 3ARC, on their use of Portman devices exclusively. “The first time, it worked. There were no gradual fixes. And it was really important to us to have the design engineers, testing, machining and manufacturing all under one roof.”
