Over 100 guests recently gathered at Isle at Watermere to witness eleven resident couples renew their wedding vows. Rev. Randy Phillips officiated the ceremony. Each couple walked down the aisle as Phillips spoke of their history and then exchanged vows they had said to each other many years ago. A reception was held in the Isle dining room with wedding cake and a champagne toast. Rita Pilgrim played traditional wedding music as each couple celebrated with a kiss.
“It was truly a wonderful experience to see couples that are just as in love today as they were the day they married,” said Amy Pearce, community life director of Watermere at Southlake. “We are so thankful to the Southlake community for making this special day possible. It meant so much to each special couple and to everyone in attendance!”
