CRL Senior Living Communities announced that it is more than doubling the size of Countryside Manor West to meet the growing demand for quality memory care in the Sheboygan area. The community, which provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s and other memory-related conditions, is building a new wing that will increase its total number of beds from 28 to 63. Both wings offer simple, circular layouts that allow residents to safely explore their surroundings and the choice of private or semi-private suites.
“We’ve been operating at capacity for some time, which demonstrates the appeal of standalone memory care communities, that can offer dementia-trained staff and layouts specifically designed for Alzheimer’s patients,” said Lea Ann Thibodeau, executive director of Countryside Manor West. “We’re excited to offer more area families, the nurturing environment and special amenities they seek for their loved one.”
