Querencia at Barton Creek welcomed Austin Chief of Police Art Acevedo as he gave an engaging and informative presentation to residents of the senior living community.  Attendees filled the Longhorn Room to hear Acevedo speak about his experiences being the eighth police chief in the 87-year history of the Austin Police Department.  He detailed challenges the Austin community faces, and concluded the event with a Q&A session.  

“Our residents and staff were appreciative Chief Acevedo took time out of his busy schedule to speak at Querencia,” said Ross Dickmann, executive director at Querencia. “We were honored to have the opportunity to host him.”
