Somerby at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen Receives Licensing For Memory Care Unit

Somerby St. Vincent’s One Nineteen, located in suburban Birmingham, Ala., has recently been licensed for a 24-bed Memory Care unit for Alzheimer and dementia patients.  The unit is part of the 200-bed active retirement community in Hoover that also includes Independent and Assisted Living.

According to Michael Mays, president of Somerby Senior Living, “50% of the rooms are under reservation and residents will begin moving in later this month.”
