Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest Names New President and CEO

Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest (PRCN) recently announced that Tameryn Campbell will begin serving as President and Chief Executive Officer on July 26, 2010.  She will oversee the strategic direction and growth of PRCN and its three communities: Exeter House, Park Shore, and Skyline at First Hill.

Since 1994, Ms. Campbell has worked for Life Care Services, LLC (LCS), a leading nationwide developer and manager of more than 100 retirement communities. She has managed the growth and success of several LCS communities. For the past eight years, she has served as Executive Director of Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC. Under Ms. Campbell’s leadership, Rolling Green Village ranked #1 in resident satisfaction among LCS communities surveyed over a three-year period.

Ms. Campbell is a native of Indianapolis, IN, and she received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. She is a member of numerous business and community associations, including the Alzheimer’s Association and American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. She is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in three states and a Certified Residential Care Facility Administrator in South Carolina. She continues her studies in the Harvard University Executive Education Program.

AAHSA Leaders Named to NonProfit Times’ ‘Power and Influence Top 50’ List

The NonProfit Times recently named Larry Minnix, president and CEO of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), and AAHSA board member Jill Schumann to the publication’s annual "Power and Influence Top 50" list.  The list highlights individuals making current impact in their fields and have innovative plans for the charitable sector.The publication lauds Jill Schumann, CEO of Lutheran Services in America for her leadership in an organization whose members serve one in 50 Americans.

Campbell Named Marketing Director at Watercrest at Bryan

Janice Campbell

Watercrest at Bryan has named Janice Campbell outreach marketing director.  Campbell joins Watercrest at Bryan from Top Realty Services, LLC, where she served as CEO.  Campbell has been a licensed real estate broker and salesperson for more than 20 years. She received a bachelors degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. Campbell is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Health Dimensions Group Affiliates with Jane Gorwin

Health Dimensions Group (HDG) announced its affiliation with Jane Gorwin, a nationally-recognized and respected home health and hospice consultant. Gorwin will provide HDG with strategic direction and management-related
leadership to the organization’s expanded continuum of care focus on post-acute services. Gorwin’s 26-plus years of experience in health care includes more than eight years as a nationally recognized consultant for home health, hospice, private duty and other health care entities. She was the administrator and vice president of operations for InCare Health Services and served as chief clinical and compliance executive at Sutter Health System Home Care. She also held leadership roles with Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Calif., and Grant Hospital in Chicago.

 

Beyer Named Senior Manager, Social Work and Pastoral Ministries for Riderwood

John Beyer has been named Senior Manager, Social Work and Pastoral Ministries, for Riderwood. Beyer will manage and integrate social work and pastoral ministries to ensure Riderwood’s nearly 3,000 residents receive well coordinated support services.  For the past 11 years,  Beyer has been Director of Adult Evaluation and Review Services (AERS) for Anne Arundel County, MD  His previous experience includes 10 years as Director of Social Work for Genesis Eldercare, a long-term care and short-term rehab facility.  Beyer is a  LCSW-C licensed social worker who earned his MSW from University of Maryland.  He and his wife, Judy, and their three children live in Ellicott City, MD.
