Senior Management Advisors (SMA) recently announced that it has acquired three new communities in the Southeastern United States.  SMA added the Blair House Senior Living in Macon, Georgia., Grand Villa of Melbourne in Melbourne, Florida and Pacifica Senior Living Sun City in Sun City Center, Florida.

Blair House Senior Living, formerly known as The Villas at College Hill, is a senior living and Alzheimer’s care residential community with 120 beds in historic downtown Macon.  SMA has invested $250,000 in renovations and expects to have the majority of the completions prior to the end of 2010 while operating the facility.

SMA and its partner ValStone Partners purchased a 129-room hotel in Melbourne, Florida for $4.5 million that will be converted into an assisted living community. Built in 1973, the hotel was renovated after it was significantly damaged by a hurricane in 2006 and reopened as a boutique hotel called the Tides Hotel Waterfront. SMA will complete a $1.75 million renovation to convert it into an assisted living community. Additionally, SMA will also become the new management company for Pacifica Senior Living Sun City in Sun City Center, Florida which provides a full spectrum of assisted living and memory care services.

“Senior living is an excellent investment and SMA has experienced continued growth despite the economic downturn,” says Steve Piazza, president of SMA. “We attribute this growth to our commitment to providing high quality care, exceptional services and top of the line amenities in a homelike environment that residents and their families can truly enjoy.”
