Querencia at Barton Creek senior living community recently hosted more than 200 residents and guests to a ranch themed party to commemorate the community’s three year anniversary. The evening began with cool summer cocktails and followed with a classic Texas barbeque featuring country favorites─brisket, ham, cornbread, pasta salads and watermelon.
“All of the staff here at Querencia worked hard to provide our residents with this special event, done up Austin-style,” said Ross Dickmann, executive director of Querencia. “We’ve been serving the Austin community for three years, and we look forward to many more years to come.”
The celebratory event concluded with two live performances by country music stars Bob Livingston and Bruce Robison. With the stage set up outside in Querencia’s courtyard, and the beautiful Texas hill country as the background, Livingston and Robison thrilled the audience, each performing their well-known country hits.
