Leo Brown Group, recently announced that it was awarded a ten year property tax abatement from the Town of Avon for Reagan Park Senior Living. Reagan Park Senior Living will be constructed on over 20 acres scheduled to begin this summer with an anticipated opening in the summer of 2011. Components of the Reagan Park Senior Living project will include the following:
- A 102‐bed skilled nursing facility that will include specialized wings dedicated to individuals that require short‐term rehab therapy prior to returning to their home. The skilled nursing facility will be run by an Indianapolis‐based company that is one of the state’s largest operators of long term care facilities.
- An 82‐unit assisted living facility that will provide living options for seniors requiring assistance with the activities of daily living. The assisted living facility will also include a memory care wing that will specifically cater to seniors that are affected by Alzheimer’s or other forms of age associated memory impairment.
- A 94‐unit apartment community for seniors that will be owned and managed by Cleveland, OH‐based NRP Group. This senior apartment community will include a central building housing 50 units with the remaining 44 units spread amongst several garden homes.
In addition to the senior living campus, Leo Brown Group will also construct a 20,000 square foot medical office building within Reagan Park which will provide an ideal location for physician groups and other healthcare‐oriented businesses to serve the Avon community.
