Easy Living Names Cavanaugh Director of Staff Development

Ric Cavanaugh pic-2010Easy Living, Inc., a provider of private duty home health care for residents of Pinellas county, recently announced the appointment of Ric Cavanaugh as Director of Staff Development. Cavanaugh brings over 35 years of experience in elder services, medical social work and management to the expanding company, and is responsible for the training, oversight, and guidance of the caregiving team. Cavanaugh completed his M.S.W. from St. Louis University and his B.A. in Social Psychology at Concordia College. In addition, he completed many hours of graduate work in Health Policy Analysis and Gerontology. Cavanaugh served as an adjunct professor for many years at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. While at Webster, he developed their Master’s degree program in Gerontology, the first program of its kind in St. Louis. Prior to joining EasyLiving, Cavanaugh was Care Manager for Aging Wisely, LLC and is a Certified Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias instructor.

Atria 86th Street Welcomes Gail Hochfeld as the Executive Director

Atria 86th Street, a supportive Living community in Manhattan, recently welcomed Gail Hochfeld as the Executive Director.  Hochfeld joined Atria Senior Living Group with more than 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently she oversaw the New York Yacht Club as House Manager where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse, including special events and dining. A native New Yorker, Hochfeld has vast experience in the hotel industry, having spent time at both the Morgans Hotel Group and the Royalton Hotel, both Ian Schrager Properties, in addition to the Essex House. Prior to that she served as a Respite Care Provider at the Tammy Lynn Center for Disabilities. 

Hochfeld received a Master’s degree in Business and Leadership at North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Queens College, City University of New York where she graduated Cum Laude. She is also certified in Club Management.


Watercrest at Mansfield Names Maria Rosas as Leasing Consultant

Maria Rosas Maria Rosas has been named leasing consultant at Watercrest at Mansfield. The announcement was made by Rick Simmons, president and CEO, Integrated Real Estate Group, developer of Watercrest at Mansfield.

Rosas has been in the leasing and marketing industry for over nine years and has served multiple for-lease communities. Rosas joins Watercrest from HomeTowne at Matador Ranch senior living community. She previously worked with Park Creek Apartments and Belterra Apartments, both in Fort Worth, followed by the Fairmont at Fossil Creek apartments.
