Elderly Communal Housing at Dallas (ECHAD), managed by The Legacy Senior Communities, Inc. since 1981, has been awarded positive marks by the Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation. Following a recent visit to the campus, the Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation, administrator for the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Texas, awarded the apartment community superior scores in resident/management relations and the overall appearance and maintenance of the property. ECHAD is a community of 200 one-bedroom and efficiency apartments located northeast of White Rock Lake in the Casa View area of Dallas, Texas and provides low income government housing for affordable living.
