Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), in conjunction with Greystone Communities, Inc., recently announced the completion of the $1.5 million dollar land purchase for Mirador life care senior living community. SQLC purchased the 17 acres of land for Mirador and is scheduled for completion in 2011. The gated community, designed by Three Architecture and constructed by Dallas-based Andres Construction, will feature 125 customized independent living apartment homes, each with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and 24-hour emergency response system. Also available will be 44 private assisted living suites, 41 private rooms for dignified nursing care, and 16 private residences for memory support, should it ever be needed.
“Finalizing the land purchase was a big step in the developmental process,” said Charles B. Brewer, president and CEO of SQLC. “Mirador has a bright future in Corpus Christi, and with all of the continued support from the Coastal Bend community, our depositors, and investors, our movement toward completion is one step closer.”
