StaffKnex, developers of web-based nurse scheduling and employee communication software, recently announced it was selected by Lifespace Communities, a not-for-profit offering independent senior living communities, to use its software at all Lifespace Communities . StaffKnex offers labor cost management solutions specifically designed for the long term care industry through its intuitive scheduling and communications software. StaffKnex was initially chosen for a pilot program in August 2009, at The Waterford in Juno Beach, Florida. The software enabled The Waterford to manage their entire nursing staff and instantly communicating with them by text, email, and the telephone to fill open shifts and resolve call offs. In November Deb Goss, Director of Health Services, selected StaffKnex as a premier partner for staff scheduling for all communities. The employee scheduling program will be implemented in three additional communities over the next few months.
