Landwirth Named As Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging President and CEO

The Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (CAHSA) recently named Laura Landwirth President and CEO.  In her new role, Landwirth will be working closely with the organization’s board to strategically plan and support independent- and assisted-living communities, nursing homes, adult day programs and other aging services providers in the state of Colorado. CAHSA educates members about current elder care issues, lobbies legislators to adequately support quality health care for seniors, and informs the public about its members’ services. CAHSA is an affiliate of the American Association of Homes & Services for the Aging and the Assisted Living Federation of America.  Landwirth has been executive director of the organization since 1994.

“The new title doesn’t change CAHSA’s mission to support members and advance a continuum of care choices through advocacy, education and knowledge exchange,” Landwirth said.
