Senior Living Investment Brokerage, Inc. recently announced the sale of a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Tarkio, Missouri. Tarkio is situated in the northwest corner of the state, only miles from Iowa and Nebraska. With 74 beds, the one-story structure was originally developed in 1986 and consists of approximately 29,000 square feet and sits on 4.27 acres. At the time of the sale, occupancy at the facility was approximately 52%.
The buyer, a regional long-term care provider with three other facilities in Missouri and experience with rural facilities, has plans in place to enhance census via expanded services. The facility sold for $1.35 million, or approximately $18,243 per bed. Jeff Binder of Senior Living Investment Brokerage, Inc. handled the transaction.
