Following an extensive two-year renovation, construction is now complete and The Overlook at Oxon Run began moving in new residents on August 1, 2009. The 316 unit high-rise community has undergone total exterior and interior renovations, and offers the amenities such as brand new, fully equipped kitchens, free high-speed internet, fitness center, gated off-street parking, resident services, and on-site banking. Rents are at levels affordable to income-restricted families and senior citizens. The Overlook at Oxon Run is being developed by the Community Preservation Development Corporation, a Washington, D.C. based non-profit affordable housing developer, with federal low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC) provided by the District of Columbia Housing Finance Authority.
