Enterprise Homes and Bozzuto construction celebrated the topping out of the the new Renaissance Square community last week which is starting out with an 81 unit senior apartment building called Evergreen. The project, which started construction in March 2009, is located at the site of the former Kingsley Park Apartments. Upon completion, the 17-acre Renaissance Square site will showcase the Essex-Middle River community’s vision of a mixed-income neighborhood for seniors and families. The newly developed community will feature green, sustainable living, including 115 for-sale homes along with the Evergreen senior building. Renaissance Square is valued at $43 million in total development costs, which includes financing from Susquehanna Bank, the State of Maryland, Baltimore County, Enterprise Green Communities®, and a tax credit equity investment through Enterprise Community Investment, Inc. Bozzuto Construction Corporation is the builder for the senior building.
