Prestige Care, Inc. Takes Over Operational Control of Former Mary Conrad Center

Washington-based senior care provider Prestige Care, Inc. announced that as of July 1, 2009, it has taken over management and control of the day-to-day operations of the former Mary Conrad Center, now called Prestige Care and Rehabilitation Center of Anchorage. Prestige, an experienced provider in long-term senior care, is working to transform the care center from previous management to the Prestige way of care and to enhance the quality of senior care available to those in the greater-Anchorage area.  During the transitional period, Prestige will work to improve the center and its services by adhering to Prestige’s best practices and operational systems used throughout its network of 46 centers and working with the Alaska long-term care community to ensure the health and safety of its residents.

"We are looking forward to working with the Anchorage community as partners in care," said Prestige’s president and chief executive officer, Harold Delamarter. "We’re excited to bring our commitment and passion for senior care to the community and provide an environment where every individual receives comprehensive, quality care guided by a compassionate heart."

Headquartered in Vancouver, Wash., Prestige operates 46 senior living communities and care centers throughout the Western U.S. The Prestige center in Anchorage marks the company’s first center in Alaska.
