The Village at Gleannloch Farms, a 25 acre master-planned development in Houston, Texas celebrated its official grand opening this week with excitement from residents and the surrounding Texas community. The Village at Gleannloch Farms is a not-for-profit community offering 123 independent living apartments and cottages for active seniors aged 62 and above. In addition, the community offers a full range of senior housing options including 30 assisted living apartments, 18 memory support residences, and 35 private skilled nursing suites. The newly constructed facility offers a full continuum of care – an option that, until now, was lacking in Houston.
“The decision to build a life care retirement community in the master-planned development of Gleannloch Farms just made sense. Considering the needs of seniors and their adult children, the option of having access to all types of health care services in one location is extremely important to their peace of mind,” said Kurt Senske, president and CEO of Lutheran Social Services of the South, which owns The Village at Gleannloch Farms.
The Village at Gleannloch Farms was developed by Greystone Communities, Inc., and the architectural work was done by three architecture of Dallas with interior design services performed by the Faulkner Design Group of Dallas.
