Ingleside at King Farm, a $175 million planned community in Rockville, Maryland covering 14 acres, celebrated its grand opening last month. The facility is located near the DC metropolitan area and provides a wide variety of senior apartments to fit a variety of needs and includes 10 different floor plans and has a total of 240 apartments.
Ingleside at King Farm is proudly promoting environmental sustainability by participating in the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) program. The community is offsetting electricity consumption through wind power, using low volatile organic compounds paints, carpets, and finishes, implementing additional testing and continuous verification of the building’s equipment and energy efficiency, maximizing green open space, and restoring native vegetation to promote biodiversity.
“After more than five years spent planning and building Ingleside at King Farm, we are thrilled to be open and to receive such wonderful accolades from our residents, prospects and the surrounding community,” said Jonathan Garber, Executive Director. “Ingleside at King Farm is truly a remarkable community that combines gracious living with a strong feeling of community and support for our residents.”
