Coming Soon: Stimulus Checks of $250 In The Mail For Social Security Recipients

The check is in the mail…soon, sometime toward the end of May.  Stimulus checks are going to be coming soon to most individuals who get Social Security, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), will receive a one-time payment from the U.S. government of $250 as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.  Long-term care facility residents on Medicaid that receive Social Security benefits will be receiving the checks but those SSI recipients that live in a nursing home and get a monthly SSI benefit of $30 are not eligible.
