The Chicago Tribune ran an article recently that talked about how Marian Robinson, 71, the mother of Michelle Obama and a retired secretary from the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, would be moving into the White House to help the Obama’s children settle into a routine. The article talks about how many different groups are interested in using this high profile “senior residence” to show how seniors can interact and live in harmony with their children and grandchildren. Looks like Mrs. Robinson will be setting an example of the future of senior care with the extended family under the spotlight of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
