Rob and Jennifer Liebreich started SeniorDecision.com about one year ago with the goal of providing a comprehensive listing of home health care, independent living, retirement communities, assisted living, Alzheimer’s care, and nursing homes that provide peer to peer consumer ratings and reviews. The site provides an exhaustive listing of facilities throughout the United States that is searchable by city, state or zip code and provides a a radius in which the facility is located. The search results would be better displayed if facilities and providers that have been reviewed were placed at the top or provided as an option for the search capabilities.
The site does provide user feed-back on various facilities in different locales. The reviews that are posted are well thought and easy to read and tended to be positive in nature. Those facilities that were not recommended were noted as reviewed but no further information was provided. All reviews are filtered for content by the management at SeniorDecision.
Overall, a good listing of providers and facilities but more reviews need to be posted and the ability to sort by facility/provider ratings are needed to make the site more user-friendly. As an incentive for people to provide reviews, they are donating $1 to cancer research for every review written. So get writing….
