The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) launched their senior housing search tool that was developed by SNAPforSeniors. The tool is a privately labeled version of SNAPforSeniors Senior Housing Locator that includes listings for licensed assisted living facilities, residential care homes and nursing homes, as well as independent living facilities and continuing care retirement communities.
NASMM is a not-for-profit, professional association of organizations assisting older adults and families with the demands of downsizing, relocating, or modifying their homes. The association provides links and information on its web site to help interested parties with information on the challenges of the movement of seniors, the management of the moving process, transition and relocation issues affecting older adults. NASMM is an interesting organization that has a great mission to help seniors and I’d look for SNAPforSeniors to do more private labeling of their search tool with more organizations similar to NASMM.
