Ryan Cos., Grand Living, Castletop Announce Texas Community

Ryan Companies US, Inc., Grand Living, and Castletop Capital have joined forces to develop, design, build, own and operate Grand Living at The Grove, a new senior living community set to open in Austin, Texas.

The 220-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community is planned to come with amenities such as a lounge and club, library, multiple dining venues, a theater for performances, a spa and fitness center with a salon, pool and courtyard, rooms for therapy and games, a gift shop and chapel.

Ryan is the project’s co-developer and design-builder, while Castletop Capital is the master-plan developer and Grand Living is slated to be the community’s operator.

LCS Breaks Ground on New Jersey Community

LCS has broken ground on The Delaney at The Green, a senior living community in Florham Park, New Jersey.

As planned, the community is slated to have 220 units and amenities such as multiple dining venues, multi-purpose rooms, a club room and library, a wellness area with a fitness center, a theater and classroom and an arts and crafts studio.

LCS Real Estate structured financing for the community with an institutional equity partner, and LCS Development designed the community. When The Delaney at The Green opens, Life Care Services is slated to serve as its operator.

QSL Management Starts Work on Florida Community

Site work is now underway at The Blake at LPGA, a QSL Management community in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The community is planned to have 118 assisted living and memory care apartments. Arrive Architecture Group is designing the community, while EBM Group is serving as the project’s general contractor.

The Blake at LPGA is expected to open in late 2022.

Primrose Breaks Ground on Texas Project

Primrose Retirement Communities is set to break ground on May 11 on a 108-unit senior living community in Lubbock, Texas.

CR Crawford is serving as the community’s builder, and BancFirst is financing it. The community is scheduled to open late fall, 2022.

Westminster Communities of Florida Opens Second Expansion Phase

Westminster Baldwin Park, a Westminster Communities of Florida community in Orlando, has held a ribbon-cutting celebration to mark the opening of its second phase.

The second-phase expansion added three new residential buildings with 75 apartments.

FK Architecture is the project’s design firm, and the general contractor is Clancy & Theys.

— LifeStar Living is partnering with a local developer in St. Petersburg, Florida, on a new lifestyle-focused senior living community there.

— A four-story addition is on tap for a senior living community in Savage, Minnesota.

— United Church Homes is seeking to build 100 new independent living units near one of its communities in Beavercreek, Ohio.
