Luxury Senior Living Community Planned

A new luxury senior living community will break ground this summer in Bozeman, Montana. The Springs at Bozeman will offer a mix of 172 independent living, assisted living and memory care apartments ranging in size from studio to three-bedroom floor plans.

The community will be built on five acres of land surrounded by mountain views and will also be pet friendly.

Residents will be able to enjoy chef-inspired restaurant dining with brick oven and open kitchen, a swimming pool, theater and full-service pub.

Senior Living Center Plans Finalized in Baton Rouge

A new 380-unit senior living complex is planned in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. CPI Construction will begin work on the project in early March or April.

The $44 million community will include cottages and apartments for seniors, which will range in size from one to four bedrooms. The property will also include a multifamily apartment complex.

Construction to Begin Soon on Kansas City Senior Community 

A vacant office tower in Kansas City, Missouri is being made into St. Anthony’s — A Catholic Retirement Community.

The $25 million project will have 120 independent living apartments in the old tower, but a new three-story wing will also be constructed and will hold 49 assisted living apartments and 54 memory care units.

The two additions will be connected to the old tower by a community gathering space.

Construction is set to begin in May 2017 and residents are anticipated to be able to move in summer 2018.

The project is a joint venture with Catholic Charities and Diversified Asset Management Co., which will own the property.

Atrium Senior Living Community Underway

Located in Livingston, New Jersey, a post-acute care center and senior living community is under construction. The Atrium Health & Senior Living community is anticipated to be complete by late 2017.

Atrium Senior Living of Livingston will be able to house 150 residents and Atrium Post Acute Care of Livingston will have a capacity for 124 people. Both buildings will be located on the campus of RWJ Barnabas Health’s Saint Barnabas Medical Center.

Residents will be able to enjoy restaurant-style meals, a wood shop, pet therapy, housekeeping and laundry services.

KBWB Construction is building the two buildings and Borglund Associates is in charge of design.

Community Set to Open In August

The Delaney at Parkway Lakes, located in Richmond, Texas. The community will offer independent living, assisted living and memory care among 212 apartments.

Amenities include granite countertops, patios and balconies in the apartments. Community amenities will include walking trails, a theater, meeting rooms, chef-prepared meals and transportation services.

LCS Development is the developer behind the project and Life Care Services will manage the property.

The community is set to open in August this year.

Ground Broken at Memory Care Community

Clarity Pointe Tallahassee is underway in Tallahassee, Florida. The Clarity Pointe community will be specifically for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and memory loss.

There will be 74 apartment suites with a capacity of 100 residents.

The Douglas Company is the general contractor for the construction and the Leo A Daly architecture firm is the architect not he project.

Clarity Pointe Tallahassee will open is doors to residents in fall this year.

Senior Living Tower in Minnesota Reveals Upgrades

Ebenezer Tower Apartments, an affordable senior housing community managed by Ebenezer in Minneapolis, recently completed $10.2 million in upgrades.

The renovation project was done while residents continued to live in the apartments. The project included the remodel of the lobby, modernization of two existing elevators, the construction of a second laundry room as well as a renovation of a community room.

Other improvements included upgraded electrical systems, new boilers and new water heaters. In all 192 individual apartments air conditioning was installed for the first time.

Kraus-Anderson was the general contractor for the project.

Assisted Living, Memory Care Community Opens in Florida

Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, The Symphony at the Waterways has opened its doors to its first residents.

The eight-story residence has 106 units in total. Eighty-six of those units are dedicated to assisted living and 20 are memory care apartments.

The community has views of the ocean as well as a number of outdoor lounge areas, top floor patios and waterside cafe. Other amenities include restaurant-style dining, a sky lounge with full bar, spa and salon, fitness center, movie theater, and a concierge service.

Symphony at the Waterways will be managed by Compass Pointe Healthcare System. Capital Health Group owns the building.
