Lancaster Pollard Adds New Vice President at California Banking Office

Lancaster Pollard has named Ross Holland as vice president of the company’s specialty investment banking and mortgage banking firm in Newport Beach, California.

In his new role, Holland will be responsible for the Central California, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico markets, reaching out to providers, aiding in refinancing, restructuring providers’ debt and helping in other capital projects. Before joining Lancaster Pollard, Holland was a pricing analyst for Catalyst Rx.

“Ross brings a wealth of experience with our financing programs in the health care and senior living sectors,” said Lancaster Pollard senior vice president Jason Dopoulos in a prepared statement. “He has been with the firm for several years and knows our platform inside and out.”

LivHome Appoints New Chief Clinical Officer

LivHome, Inc. welcomes Dr. Cody D. Legler as its new chief clinical officer.

In this role, Legler will be responsible for helping to develop and train the company’s professional team and also seeking out opportunities to expand service offerings. Previously, Legler led patient care at a non-profit trauma center and a for-profit management and home care firm. He also has a clinical background in pre and post-op care, neurosurgical intensive care, operations and nursing care management.

LivHome provides at-home services for seniors and their families in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas and Virginia.

LCB Senior Living Hires Three New Leaders at Properties

LCB Senior Living has appointed three new leaders to its administrative team and at residences in New England.

Chris Brooks has been named the executive director of the Residence at Valley Farm, located in Ashland, Massachusetts and slated to open this fall. Brooks has spent 15 years in the assisted living space, starting off as business director at a community and working his way up to executive director for the Atrium at Drum Hill in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

The Residence at Salem Woods, located in Salem, New Hampshire and opening in early 2016, welcomes Brittany McClintick as its sales and marketing director. She previously worked for Birches at Concord, a memory care-specific community and received certification as a dementia practitioner.

Brian Robinson, who has served the senior living sector for more than 20 years, joins the LCB staff as regional director of operations. Prior to this new position, Robinson worked in sales and consulting at Kensington Senior Living.

Founded in 2010, LCB Senior Living is a developer and operator of independent, assisted and memory care living for seniors.

Pedestal Foods Names New Director of Dining Services at Retirement Community in St. Louis, Missouri

Pedestal Foods has appointed Larry Shifrin as director of dining services at The Fountains of West County, a retirement community offering independent living in St. Louis, Missouri.

Shifrin joins the staff at The Fountains with more than 20 years in hospitality experience, ranging from owning his own restaurant to serving as manager and director in both the casual and fine dining markets. Most recently, he worked as the food and beverage manager at Hilton Worldwide in St. Louis.

“Larry’s experience in the industry has prepared him for this role, and we are glad to have him on our team,” said John Ruppert, director of operations for Pedestal Foods, in a news release. “He will be a valuable asset to the food management system at The Fountains.”

Pedestal Foods is an onsite dining services company that specializes in K-12 food service, on-campus dining for universities and colleges and senior living dining.

Executive Director of Michigan CCRC Appointed to State Board of Nursing Home Administrators

The Michigan Board of Nursing Home Administrators welcomes Jana Broughton as its newest member of the nine-person panel.

Broughton, executive director of Covenant Village of the Great Lakes in Grand Rapids, Michigan, was appointed by Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and will represent nursing home administrators on the board, helping to determine licensing requirements. Her appointment is contingent on the advice and consent of the state Senate. Once approved, her term expires June 30, 2019.

A 25-year veteran in the health care and senior living industries, Broughton has worked with Extendicare Health Services, Inc., National Lutheran Communities and Services, and MediLodge Group, Inc.

Greenspring Appoints New Director of Finance in Springfield, Virginia

Justin G. Reaves has been promoted to director of finance for Greenspring, an Erickson Living retirement community in Springfield, Virginia.

Prior to the promotion, Reaves served as the continuing care retirement community’s assistant director of finance. Before joining the team at Greenspring, Reaves was employed as a finance manager with Towne Park, a senior associate at SC&H Capital and a manager at SC&H Group, LLC.

As director of finance at Greenspring, Reaves will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing all financial reports, assisting with financial operations’ policies and procedures and leading training of accounting staff members, among other tasks.

Greenspring is one of 18 retirement communities managed by Erickson Living. It spans 58 acres and houses nearly 2,000 residents.

Trinity Mutual Appoints New Director of National Sales and Expansion

Trinity Mutual has announced the appointment of Bill Templeton as the company’s director of national sales and expansion.

In his new role, Templeton will be responsible for national sales, call center management, company expansion in territory and loan originations. He will be based in Rancho Cordova, California.

Templeton joins Trinity Mutual with 30 years of mortgage experience, most recently serving as president and CEO of The Money Store, where he increased its footprint to over 150 branches, 33 product lines, three call centers and 2 million customers.

Founded in 2005, Trinity Mutual is the largest reverse mortgage company in the country, operating in 20 states.
