Online Job Site Launches Badge System for Hiring Senior Caregivers

| August 18, 2013

An online job community looks to enhance the hiring of qualified caregivers through the launch of an achievement-based badge system.

myCNAjobs is an online community designed for assisted living communities, nursing homes and home care agencies that offers a unique approach to hire care companions, nursing assistants and home health aides through a real-time, on-demand workforce backed by traditional job board functionality.

“We’re excited to unveil the first version of an upcoming series of product releases, allowing employers to hire more effectively while also empowering professional caregivers,” said Brandi Kurtyka, chief marketing officer of myCNAjobs.

For those on the job hunt, the latest release from myCNAjobs allows caregivers to earn badges for caregiver training achievements and standout for their willingness to work in various positions, including live-in caregiver jobs.

Employers can find the badges displayed on caregiver profiles, allowing them to filter the workforce to find a qualified hire.

“The latest release if now live and we’re happy to extend a free trial offering to any homecare agency, nursing home, or assisted living community that would like to kick the tires to see what we’re all about,” Kurtyka said.
