Niche senior living communities have been emerging right and left, and now there’s an opportunity to corner the romantic getaway scene for the 50+ population—maybe even with a permanent model. Want to break into the senior love shack market? OurTime.com has the top cities where you might have the best luck.

As the largest 50+ online dating community, OurTime.com drew on its 2.5 million member base for data on single Boomers, ranking cities based on the highest populations of middle-aged singles who identified themselves as “highly romantic” vs. “unromantic,” and which cities had the highest and lowest concentration of active users who regularly flirt with other members on the network.

  4. Henderson, Nev.
  5. Naples, Fla.
  6. Knoxville, Tenn.

  9. West Palm Beach, Fla.
  10. Colorado Springs, Colo.

Top 10 Flirtiest Cities of 50+ Singles

  1. Myrtle Beach, S.C.
  2. Cape Coral, Fla.
  3. Amarillo, Tex.
  4. Ocala, Fla.
  5. Greenville, S.C.
  6. Lincoln, Neb.
  7. Scottsdale, Ariz.
  8. Lubbock, Tex.
  9. Des Moines, Iowa
  10. Corpus Christi, Tex.

New York, N.Y. tops the list for both “least romantic” and “least flirty” cities of 50+ singles, along with Washington, D.C., Bronx, N.Y., and Los Angeles, Calif., all of which feature on both lists.
