Ryan Companies Completes Senior Housing Facility in Cook, Minnesota

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has announced the completion of a 20,000-square-foot residential facility in Cook, Minn., for Spectrum Health Company. Carefree Living-Cook, a $3.1 million dollar project, consists of 16 assisted-living suites and 13 memory-care units.

“We offer elder adults high-quality accommodations, services and personal assistance in a manner designed to promote a dignified independent lifestyle,” said Merle Sampson, CEO of Spectrum Health Companies. “We enjoyed working with the Ryan team, and are thrilled to be able to bring our Carefree Living concept to the community of Cook, Minn.”

Ryan provided design-build construction services and assisted with the city approval process.  The project was funded in part by IRRR and Minnesota Department of Human Services grants and designed by DJR Architects.
