Senior Housing Public Relations Nightmare Or Maybe Not?

Sex in a golf cart?  Viagra black market?  Most retirement communities are looking for publicity but this article in the New York Post is enough to make you blush, maybe even cringe.  The Villages in Florida, one of the largest retirement areas in the United States has 34 golf courses, nine country clubs, two downtown squares and a slew of restaurants and bars.  Many articles have been written about the Villages over the past few years detailing its growth at its attraction for seniors in the northeastern part of the US.  After reading this article from the Post, retirement in the Villages sounds like a trip back to college and the days of “Animal House”.  Click on the link for the article entitled, “Retire to the Bedroom, Sex Fest At Old-Timers’ Hottest Spot“.
