This article in Indian Realty News discusses a new senior housing project in India that sounds a lot like a CCRC that specifically targets NRIs (Non Resident Indians) and their real estate needs.  The article states that the cost of entrance is approximately 3,000,000 Rupees and a monthly expense of 10,000 rupees for the pleasure of living at the Impact Senior Living Estates.  Three million rupees = $64,000 USD  and Ten Thousand Ruppees a month equals $211 USD.  Sounds quite a bit cheaper than retirement in the United States.  As more medicine and medical is outsourced to other countries for cost purposes, this may be a viable alternative for seniors with limited resources that don’t want to end up in government care facilities.
